Here is my first tip: Do you have a problum removing thoes nasty bot eggs in the fall ? Try a sponge saturated with rubbing alcohol. Scrub the eggs with soaked sponge . I do it several times . Eggs that don't come off will shrivel and If ingusted won't hatch.

Are You a first time horse owner or thinking of being one?

Some times we get into projects with out knowing what they entail! Like for instance, my quilting project, I started three years ago thinking it would be a breeze! Well guess what, It took me three years to get the blocks together and now as I look at all the hand quilting I had planned I think it will take the rest of my life to finish it! The project was bigger then I thought!
What does that have to do with owning a horse? Well sometimes we get into situations before we know what the project requires. Like for instance, Horses need worming every several months , trimming every six weeks, they need shots, grooming , proper food ,do you know what kind of hay and supplements ? Does your saddle fit your horse ? Do you know how to get a good fit ?Did you know they need sand removel treatment's , Do you know how to treat wounds, skin irritations ,clean hoofs , sheaths, & eyes? Before stepping off into it ,one must be informed as to what the project requires to be able have a successful experience! Happy trails!

Yup, there is a LOT more to horse ownership than many folks realize! Especially if you keep them at home and care for them yourself. It's practically a full time job!

Hello

I am not ready to purchase a horse yet, but was curious on what range your prices fall into. I have had horses before so do know all that they entail but kudos to you for stating that out there for people to see. So many are just opkay you hvae money here you go. Anyway, my two favorite mares were an Arabian named Tjhara, and my Paso name Picale. You could carry soda in packs in the mountains on her and still drink it, LOL. Besides the fact that she was a nice size and had a sweet attitude. SOrry I do go on sometimes.

Thanks
Amy
